A360 Aluminum Casting Alloy

AA A360.0 / die casting. A360 is an Al-Si-Mg die-casting alloy with added magnesium and low copper, giving better corrosion resistance and ductility than A380 — favored for marine and corrosion-exposed parts.

FAQ

What is the difference between A380 and A360?

A360 has added magnesium and little/no copper, giving better corrosion resistance and ductility; A380 has ~3.5% copper for higher strength and machinability but lower corrosion resistance. Use A360 for marine/corrosion service.
